Help Us Soar: Volunteer with MRCC

Montana’s raptors need your wings. From the rugged peaks of the Gallatin Range to the vast eastern prairies, the Montana Raptor Conservation Center (MRCC) works tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate, and release injured birds of prey. This mission is only possible through the dedication of our community volunteers.
  • Urgent Need: We are currently seeking Transport Volunteers in the Billings area to help bridge the gap for birds found on the Eastern part of the state to get to Bozeman.
  • We are looking for dedicated facilities volunteers to assist us once a month (or more frequently) in building perches and making minor upgrades to bird enclosures. All materials and tools will be provided, although you are welcome to bring your own; we just need individuals with the time to help.
  • From May to October, we will need a volunteer once a week to help maintain the grounds through activities such as mowing, weed whacking, and pulling weeds. All necessary equipment will be supplied; we just need someone with the time to contribute.
  • While our rehabilitation and education volunteer positions are currently full, we encourage you to complete an application. We will keep it on file and reach out to you when an opportunity becomes available.
