The Montana Raptor Conservation Center (MRCC) needs a new education mews for our ambassador raptors. The new mews is a specifically designed housing unit for our ambassador raptors. (i.e., birds that cannot be released into the wild that MRCC personnel have trained for handling and for public programs). It will provide a safe and comfortable shelter with water, heat, and lighting; multiple perches and adequate space for the raptors to move about; as well as better public viewing at education programs. The new mews will provide housing for eleven raptors and allow better viewing during scheduled educational programs at MRCC. Our current outdoor mews for our ambassador birds holds 9 raptors, does not have water, and is not situated for public viewing. The birds that we still have available to sponsor are Chaco, Sammy, Rosa, Pilgrim and Millie. This is a rare opportunity to leave a lasting mark on MRCC and the bird of your choice. The price to sponsor an individual mew is $5000.00.

Benefits include

  • Plaque on door of bird’s mews
  • Initial meet and greet with the bird
  • Adopt a raptor package
  • 2 scheduled visits with the bird a year
