Brad Ehrnman has been a resident of the Bozeman area since 1996. His passion for raptors began in childhood when he became captivated by falconry after reading the children’s classic My Side of the Mountain. He was fortunate to have understanding grandparents who helped him befriend Len Sucy, a pioneer in raptor rehabilitation in northern New Jersey. Having the opportunity to be close to injured raptors fueled his enthusiasm for these birds, compelling him to spend many September and October weekends observing the legendary fall hawk migration in Cape May, New Jersey.

A deep interest in wildlife and the outdoors drew Brad to Montana after earning his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from Denison University in Granville, Ohio. Over nearly two decades, he built a renowned career in the fly fishing industry as a guide, outfitter, consultant, and equipment manufacturer. In 2015, he channeled his connections and talents into a career in real estate.

Brad is thrilled to join the MRCC board and eager to contribute to its mission of treating injured raptors and educating the public about these remarkable animals with which he feels such a profound connection.
