Join us at MRCC for captivating sessions featuring our educational ambassador raptors, lasting between 45 to 90 minutes.
Key Details:
- Reservation is required, 7-10 days is preferred. Please call 406-920-3235 if less noticed.
- Tours accommodate 15 people or fewer; groups larger than 15 will receive a formal presentation, or split into smaller groups through the raptor areas.
- The cost is $25 per person, and children under 4 years old can join for free.
- Please note that for the safety and healing of rehabilitation patients only our raptor ambassadors will be showcased.
- Enjoy hands-on learning with biofacts; however, participants will not be permitted to touch or handle the raptors.
- While all ages are welcome, the content of the tour or presentation is best suited for those over the age of 7 years.

- Overview of MRCC’s Rehabilitation Process: Gain insights into what it takes to cover 88,000 square miles of Montana’s wildlife, along with exclusive pictures and descriptions of our past and current patients. For the health and safety of our patients, we will not access areas containing hospitalized birds.
- Care for Resident Raptor Ambassadors: Learn about our team’s dedication to caring for 13 permanent resident raptor ambassadors.
- Training and Care: Understand how we train and care for our ambassador raptors.
- How to Help: Discover ways you can contribute to the protection of Montana’s raptors.
What Will You See?
- Expect to see between 5 to 10 raptor ambassadors.
- Our facility houses hawks, owls, falcons, an eagle, and a turkey vulture. Please note that not all species will be on display at the same time, as seasonal changes and the birds’ specific enrichment schedules may affect their visibility.
What Do You Need to Bring?
- Closed-Toed Shoes: A must, as some raptors will only be viewable on uneven terrain and up two flights of short stairs.
- Water Bowl: We do not have a water fountain to refill bottles. Additionally, please be aware that restrooms for guests will not be available until summer.
